August Series - Streaming LIVE

We proudly present: August Series, a weekend of five world-premiere works August 27-30, streaming LIVE only in The Virtual Box!

All new works choreographed by the brilliant artists of The Rosin Box Project; Bethany Green, Brian Heil, Katie Spagnoletti, Carly Topazio, Jeremy Zapanta, these captivating and awe-inspiring ballets will be debuted in The Virtual Box - performed and filmed LIVE from the Tenth Avenue Arts Center. Each live stream will begin at 7:45 pm PST with a brief introduction, and the performance will begin at 8 pm PST.

The company is also joined by guest choreographer Donnie Duncan Jr, emerging international talent and member of the acclaimed Netherlands Dance Theater, who is creating a new solo for TRBP via Zoom from across the globe! The company is thrilled to share Mr. Duncan’s choreographic creation with local and national audiences!

Following the Friday evening performance, there will be a Zoom Talk-Back with the artists, and a chance for attendees to connect with the dancers on the process of adapting live performances to the virtual world in the wake of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

As a part of our Frontline Performance Campaign, which raised money for a free performance giving back to the men and women working essential jobs to keep society running through this global pandemic, free admission is being offered to all essential workers and businesses for each LIVE stream, as well as an in-person show that can be delivered to outdoor sites upon request.
